We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated, qualified GDC registered Dental Nurses to work within our busy Emergency Dental Service at our Kendal clinic. Sessions are held weekday evenings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday \& Friday 17:45 until 21:45 Saturday ,Sundays and Bank Holidays 08:15 until 12:15 This is a bank position and sessions will be offered as and when cover is needed. We need cover predominately more for evening sessions Please contact Linda Clark \- 01539 739764 To provide clinical and clerical support to Trust employed Dental Practitioners Operating in the NCIC Emergency Dental Service. To be the link between the patient and the clinician. To prepare the surgery for the patient and assist the dentist in a range of emergency dental care. To undertake reception duties and carry out administrative and filing duties (either electronically or paper\-based) within the Emergency Dental Service within Furness and South Lakes **Skills:** Able to follow instructions Able to maintain basic records Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills Understanding of dental and medical emergencies Able to work as a team High level of communication skills Ability to plan own daily workloads as part of a team Manual Dexterity skill Alert Sympathetic Reliable Knowledge of computer IM \& T systems for dental practice administration, e.g. SOEL Health Understanding of local dental services . Cleator Moor Health Centre We are looking for caring professional dental nurses to join the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust based Dental Service (Special Care \& Community Dental Service). The dental team provides a variety of dental services to the population of Cumbria. The Special Care \& Community Dental Service provides high quality dental care and oral health advice for a diverse group of patients including Paediatric and Special Care Patients who would find it hard to access care elsewhere or require advance treatment. The service also offers emergency dental care to the population of West Cumbria. A 30 hour vacancy has arisen for Band 4 Dental Nursing within our service. The successful applicants must hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing, NEBDN or equivalent qualification and be fully registered with the GDC to apply for this post.
